This page explains what happens to the details you give us on the SnapTheJob waiting list.

Who we are

SnapTheJob is in pre-launch. A limited company is being set up to run it, and its details will be added here once it is registered. You can reach us through our contact page.

What we collect

When you join the waiting list we keep the details you type in: your name, email, postcode and, if you are a trade, your business name, trade, town and roughly how many old jobs you have. If you are a customer you can also tell us about the job you need doing.

Why

Only to email you when quotes or trade accounts go live, and to understand which trades and areas to launch first. We use your consent (the box you tick). We do not sell your details or pass them to any business.

Following businesses

If you tap Follow, we either keep your phone's notification address (if you allow alerts) or your email address, together with which businesses you follow. We use it only to tell you about new jobs from them. You can unfollow at any time with the same button, turn alerts off in your phone's settings, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.

Where and how long

Your details are stored on our own server in the UK. We keep them until you ask us to remove them, or 12 months after launch, whichever comes first.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or unsubscribe at any time, through our contact page. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
